Long time Cherokee County resident launches his 2020 campaign for the Cherokee County Coroner's Office
On Tuesday, January 6, 2020, Eddie Parker officially announced his candidacy for the Coroner for Cherokee County, Georgia. Supported by his family and friends he proudly released the following statement as he immediately began work on his campaign.
"I would like to humbly announce my intent to run as a Republican for Cherokee County Coroner in the may 2020 primary elections.
As a 43 year resident of Cherokee County, I've been in the ministry for 29 years and I'm the Pastor and member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton. I am a proud business owner of North Metro Mitigation Inc and Elite Response Inc. Recently, God has burdened my heart to now serve the community I love as Coroner. It's my desire to take my knowledge as a successful business owner, my experience as a preacher and pastor, and apply that to the Coroner's Office.
I've been married to my lovely wife, Gwen Parker, for 40 years. She serves as the SVP at Renesant Bank. We have raised three children and have eight grandchildren.
When elected, I can assure the citizens of Cherokee County that the Coroner's Office will continue to provide professional service while also serving with compassion and sincerity to families in their time of grief.
On Tuesday, may 19th, I ask that you cast your vote for me, Eddie Parker, as your next Coroner of Cherokee County."
